Not at all — in fact, most of our guests have never played before! Our instructors teach everything from scratch, starting with the basics and moving at a pace that works for your group. If some guests already know the basics, we'll make sure they're challenged too.

We come to your venue/home and lead your group through learning the game together. Events typically include an intro to tiles and rules, guided practice rounds, and open play time. We keep things relaxed and fun — no pressure, no complicated scorekeeping required to enjoy it.

We host a wide range of events: corporate team-building, bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, girls' nights, bridal showers, community workshops at libraries or senior centers, and more. If you have a group that wants to learn together, we're in.

Most events run 2–3 hours, which gives plenty of time to learn the game and actually play. We can discuss a custom length when you book — just let us know if you need something shorter or want to extend the fun.

We bring everything — mahjong sets, tiles, and all the materials needed to teach. You just need tables and chairs for your guests, and whatever food and drinks your group wants. We handle the rest.

Mahjong is played 4 players per table, so we work best with groups of 4 or more. Reach out to us with your group size and we'll let you know what's possible — we can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger events.

We serve the Twin Cities metro area and come to you — your home, office, backyard, Airbnb, restaurant private room, community center, or wherever your event is happening. You just need enough table space for your group.
